About Vocational Service PDF Print E-mail

Rotary International Founder Paul Harris said,
“Each Rotarian is a connecting link between the idealism of Rotary and their trade or profession.”

Rotary Vocational Service involves club members serving others through their professions and aspiring to high ethical standards.

Rotarians, as business leaders, share skills and expertise through their vocations, and they inspire others in the process.

Vocational Service Committee members encourage all business professionals to “Put Rotary to Work Where You Work (and live)” and to consider the Four –Way test in all we think, say or do:

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
